Create A Nickname For Jordan Leopold

Then, there are the cooler ones: Super Joe, Son Of Stastny, The Duke, Stylin' Liles, Domo Arigato Mr. Svatos.

Unfortunately left out of all of the nickname fun has been oft-injured but never-missed Avalanche defenseman Jordan Leopold.  After some prompting by MHH member Dario in the comments section of this post, I've decided it's time for us to create a nickname befitting such an important member of the Avalanche scratch list.

I'm not sure I have any really great suggestions, but what immediately comes to mind any time I read or write the name "Jordan Leopold" is the old Bugs Bunny episode "Long-Haired Hare," in which Bugs impersonates famous conductor Leopold Stokowski.

At the 4:50 mark, Bugs enters the orchestra pit at an opera and instantly the musicians whisper his "name" in awe and amazement: "Leopold.  Leopold.  Leopold!"

Though that doesn't exactly help with creating a nickname for Jordan Leopold, it's still fun to watch.  I digress.

So what do we know about Jordan Leopold?

1. He's injured all the time.

2. He's fair skinned.

3. He wears number 44.

4. He's not as sexy as John-Michael Liles (who is?)

5. He's injured ALL THE TIME.

Hopefully that's enough to inspire some good ideas.  Please submit your brilliant nickname suggestions and after a couple of days I'll create a poll---we'll vote and determine the best one.  The rest of the season, I'll dutifully refer to Leopold by that nickname, and we'll see if it sticks.
