What really needs to be said about this game?  If the Colorado Avalanche seeks to remain in first place in the Northwest Division, this game is a must-win.  There, I said it.  Must-win.  Must-win!  MUST-WIN!!!

If they do not want to stay in first place, then I guess it doesn't matter.  Lose away, Avs, lose away!

The game starts at 6:00 PM Mountain time, 8:00 PM Eastern.  I will not be home for the start of the game because I'll be at the rink watching live, local beer league hockey instead.  Where I live, you take every opportunity you can to see actual hockey on actual ice, even if it falls down a lot and isn't allowed to body check.  At least they play for a cool trophy.  

I should be home by the third period of the Avs game.  Hope to see a few of you hanging around making wise-ass remarks and posting tasteless pictures.  Don't let me down.
