Replays of the show are scheduled for Fri., Jan. 4 at 6:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Sun., Jan. 6 at 10:00 p.m. and Mon., Jan. 7 at 6:30 a.m.

Hosted by Drew Goodman, TOP 10 COLORADO SPORTS STORIES: AVS ’96 looks back at the team who helped win the franchise’s first Stanley Cup and Denver’s first major professional championship. The Avs, formerly the Quebec Nordiques until the franchise moved to Denver in 1995, is the only team in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup their first season after relocation. The show also reviews the Avs rivalry with the Detroit Red Wings which arguably began during the 1996 Western Conference Finals.
Current Avalanche center Joe Sakic and former Avs goalie Patrick Roy and wingman Claude Lemieux along with former Avs coach Marc Crawford relive their first season in Denver and their four-game sweep over the Florida Panthers to win the Stanley Cup. Denver Post sports columnist Terri Frei also remarks about covering the Avs throughout the 1995-96 season.
Goodman, Fox 31 news anchor Ron Zapollo and Rocky Mountain News sports columnist Dave Krieger discuss the impact the Stanley Cup champions had on the Denver community.
FSN Rocky Mountain will look back on the 2000-01 Avalanche and their road to their second Stanley Cup during TOP 10 COLORADO SPORTS STORIES: AVS ’01, Thurs., Jan. 10, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. MT. Throughout January and February, the network will feature the University of Colorado’s 1990 national football championship, the Denver Broncos first Super Bowl appearance in 1977 and the Broncos Super Bowl wins in 1997 and 1998 as part of the TOP 10 COLORADO SPORTS STORIES series.
