Avalanche web site to change

Some news making the rounds (this was reported on Dwayne Klessel's site the other day) is that the NHL will be going to to the same template for all the individual team sites in a move similar to what MLB did a couple of years ago.

Want a sneak peak? The Carolina Hurricanes are the first team to make the move. Read the press release (and see the new look) here. Overall, I think it's a good move for the NHL, although I hope it does not mean an end to the availability of the game notes that the Avalanche publish. If it means I never again have to look at this monstrosity of a Flash experiment gone bad, it's a good move in the long run.
