I feel like I'm Eight Again!

Most of my early hockey stories came from my grandfather who was a huge Canadiens fan. My passion for sports really didn't start until I was a teenager.  Plus there wasn't much hockey action in Okinawa, Japan and Panama City, FL.  I moved back to Colorado in 1993.  My parents bought one of those huge c-band satellite dishes and I was able to watch programming from Canada; in particular CBC.  For the most part, HNIC was the only NHL hockey I watched until the Avs came to town.  I also took a strong liking to the DU hockey program.  I'm just as passionate about the Pioneers as I am about the Avalanche.
