Coach Q returns to the bench

Blackhawks fire Savard after four games.

Wtf_mediumWith expectations high in Chicago, the Blackhawks didn't give Savard much time to get his young crew going.  After finally winning their first game last night the Hawks parted ways with Savard who has a 65-66-16 record in 147 games with the Hawks.

Quenville, has been named the new coach.  Can you say "goalie-go-round"? Huet has been struggling going 0-1-1.  The Hawks got their first win last night with Khabibulin (1-1-0) in net. This is just what the Hawks need.

UPDATE: Moved to the front page...and that last line is sarcasm, right? Ohh, and I finally have a use for this picture!!
