Vote for Super Joe

Sean Leahy at going 5-hole is holding a "Best Captain in the NHL" poll. Sakic's first round opponents:

Bill Guerin
Brenden Morrow
Vincent Lecavalier

He's whooping ass right now (as expected) but let's go vote him through anyways.

Drury

He’s trashing his opponents as well.

But I’m still not bitter…

Super Joe has that one wrapped up.

Go Avs! Let's get some goals!

As does

Iginla, Drury and Neidermayer.

Those ones aren’t surprising in the least.

and pool 4 is a battle of the ‘meh’.

I was going through each list thinking to myself, “Self, a lot of these teams have really mediocre captains.”

Go Avs! Let's get some goals!

But he’s such a detriment to the team with his shoddy leadership. We should be voting for Luongo, have you seen him captain out there, he’s always trying to question calls and get his team up. It’s true captainship at it’s best.

I don’t know why, but the word ‘captainship’ made me chuckle. I wonder if that’s Luigi’s new motto?

theres nothing wrong with captainship, it’ll be in a dictionary soon. Not a good dictionary mind you, but a dictionary none the less.

Is that an Aussie dictionary?

No

99% of Australians are too drunk to read a dictionary, let alone write one. It’s a special dictionary

yeah

but without the urban part because we atleast use words that make sense. And never add “izzle” to any words, that just lame.

Well

this is the first i’ve heard of such words. Plus were Australian so it doesn’t matter what we say, we’re still cool.

Yeah but that’s sydney. They’re not cool full stop. Perth’s where its at. We got 1 ice rink, soon to be 2 after the other old one closed down. Plus it has me, so that explains everything.

We will have to vote enmasse

to counter the tide of votes for Crosby next round.

by Drakenlot on Oct 28, 2008 1:11 PM MDT reply reply actions actions   0 recs

Maybe not

There are a lot of people that hate Crosby, while Sakic is usually well liked.
