Yep, Lalime is no slouch…Buffalo’s goalies have combined for a 1.65 GAA and a .940 save percentage.

Well the flyers beat them last night 6-3. Devils are probably pissed to be the only team the Flyers have beat. Add to that they are lossing again today to them….that’s adding injury to insult.

It’s friggin Super Saturday, and the only channel that’s showing hockey is CBC, and they’re doing EDM-VAN and TOR-OTT. Two games that don’t include the Avs.
The Score actually chose showing Horse Racing over hockey!
Canada is supposed to be Hockey Nation, and we only get two games out of 15?!
What I’m getting at is anyone have a stream link?

Went out a bought an amazing jersey for $300.
Has almost all the signatures of the Avs team circa 2001-02.

Wow, someone threw a smoke-stink bomb in Philly onto the ice after a Philly goal was called off in OT. There was like a 10 minute delay, then they resumed and the Flyers scored about a minute of gametime later. How weird is that?

What kind of test was it? I remember you saying once that you were an engineer of some sort. I’m looking to get into engineering too, but I wasn’t told about any 8-hour tests… That might just send me looking for a different career path, haha.

It was the PE (Professional Engineers) exam. I took the Structural I portion (8 hours). Regardless of the flavor, if you want to be a licenced engineer in the US, you have to sit for the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) which is 8 hours, and then after an appropriate number of years of experience working under a licensed engineer (usually 4 years), you can sit for the PE.
It was rough.

What a weekend
Not only did i avoid getting embarrased in my hockey clinic yesterday, although i did get hit in the mask twice, once from a good slap shot that hit my throat protecter in the side of my chin when i dropped to butterfly and the other when i was standing up and got hit right in the cats eye. Plus i almost got hit in the face when i was behind the net, with my back turned and my mask off getting a drink. There are some incredibly stupid people in this world.(Started playing goalie about 4 months ago) i get to listen to an Avs game. How good is that.

The channel numbers may be different but on my guide, after the first 10 channels of center ice, there are some music channels like Fuse and MTV whatever and than a few more center ice channels right before the Encore channels.

This may be old news...
But I’m fairly positive Boots has a home and away mask thing going this year. I don’t know how I feel about that. It’s a little diva, but at the same time, it’s reassuring that he’s got a goalie quirk that is easily identifiable.
Also, I like the way the period ended, lots of pressure and possession in the Sabres end, but they need to get more QUALITY shots or we’re going to hand Miller some momentum.

the Home and Away mask idea, as long as they both match well with the jersey it looks good, if they don’t it looks pretty bad. Turco’s two masks match the jersey well but i don’t think Boods two masks match either jersey well so he should probably stick with just one.

but you are right! The home mask is a little darker (like the jerseys) and the road one has more snow in it to go with the white road jerseys.
The white one has The Hulk tearing through the side, and i can’t find a good picture of the dark one.
