Ugh

This shouldn’t even be close, honestly. Joe Sakic has proven himself over a fantastic 20 year time frame, 16 of which he has had the C on his chest. That would be 20 years of being one of the most offensively gifted players, while maintaining the respect of everyone in hockey. 2 full decades of this. Crosby, while talented, is 10 days older than I am. Sakic’s pro career started when Crosby was a ripe old age of….1. This has no business being anywhere near as close as it is, and if he somehow beats out Sakic, the entire poll is a joke.

Give it time, only 147 votes so far, and you know how irrational Pinguins fans are. Look how they treated Ho$$a before they realised he was a sell-out

Man

I’m 2 yrs older than Sid.

If he beats Super Joe, Imma smacking each and every person who voted for Sid

I’m 10 months younger than Sid. I doubt he’ll win this one but i have nothing against him being the Pens captain. What makes me smile is the fact that Lidstrom, the one wing i respect is destroying Scott Neidermayer, one of my least favourite players for the stunt he pulled last year with the ducks.

Don't get me wrong

I think Crosby has ever reason to be wearing the “C” for the Penguins. That’s all good and well. He’s their leader, their engine, whatever. What annoys me is that in a head-to-head vote in a “Tournament of Captains” with Joe Sakic, one of the best captains and players in NHL history, it’s even sort of close. Sakic should honestly smoke most of them, and that’s not even a biased opinion.

Yeah he should. But you’ll always get fanboys who’ll vote for their team captain cough Vancouver cough. I refused to vote between Iginla and Luongo, One’s a douche and the other’s not even a real captain.

Wait

isn’t that the same kind of thing as what your condoning? You don’t want to vote for either since you don’t like them?

I admit, no matter how much I hate Iggy and the Flame-Outs, he is a leader.

The Savage's confused

Are you saying i’m only voting for Sakic because i like him because i’m voting for him because he’s a great leader. As for Iggy i never said he’s not a good leader, i just said hes a douche and i didn’t like him, although pulling everyone back onto the ice to shale Lindens hand was incredibly classy.

Don’t call yourself “The Savage”, as hilarious as it me be, it’s rather “”http://images.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/20071210/293.scrubs.121007.jpg" >Toddish". And as for the confusion, Iggy IS a good leader, regardless what you think of him. He’s a better leader than Lungo, so vote for him.

Thats the hilarious thing

I’ve spent the last few days watching season 5 of Scrubs and that’s why i said The Savage, it’s from one of my favourite Todd quotes. When Elliot and Carla are talking to Todd in My Lunch about the fact they know he’s gay he says “The Todd’s confused” and the way he says it’s hilarious. He’s in my top 5 favourite Scrubs characters behin Dr Cox and the Janitor(tied for first) Dan Dorian, Keith, Jake and Sean from Sea World.

I’m a HUGE scrubs fan, but I don’t really care for Keith nor Jake (although Jake saying he makes and distributes hungarian Pr0n was hilarious).

Season 5 Keith’s hilarious, haven’t seen season 6 in a while and haven’t seen any of seven what with it being shown at midnight on the odd thursday. Jake was good when he first appeared in season 4 and i think him being a guest star helped as he didn’t get boring because he was rarely in it. Brendan Fraser and Michael J Fox have been the nest guest stars but weren’t really in long enough to warrent top 5.

Well

Son of a basket weaver, Sakic won.

Joe will face Koivu while Lindstrom faces Iginla. Why do I think one Sakic got the tougher fight?
