- Adam Foote has been placed on the IR. He suffered knee and back injuries after a cheap shot from the Kings' John Zeiler. Zeiler was suspended for 3 games. Foote will miss his 4th tonight. The move is retroactive to 11/22, so Foote is eligible to be activated at any time...but it doesn't sound like he's that close.
- To replace Foote's roster spot, the Avs have recalled defenseman Aaron MacKenzie. MacKenzie is a former University of Denver player who signed with the Avs as a free agent this summer. MacKenzie wears Kurt Saur's old #34 and made a preseason appearance with the Avs in September. He's not expected to play tonight, but stranger things have happened.
- Joe Sakic is not playing tonight, and has been downgraded to "indefinite". Dater is pretty dire with the outlook, but not me (see Joe Sakic Rule).

Well, I’m going to the game tonight. I’m a masochist fan like that. Two of the lowest scoring teams in the NHL meeting in a super battle of dump and change.
I’m going to put up missing persons posters in the Pepsi center tonight. Do you guys have any suggestions? I’m thinking McLeod, Hejduk and Wolski.
