Kyle Cumiskey Returned To Lake Erie
With Adam Foote's return to the lineup, the Avalanche were sitting pretty with 8 healthy defensemen. Now they have 7. Kyle Cumiskey is heading back to Lake Erie. This gives him a much-needed chance to play - Cumiskey hadn't played in a game since his November 25th recall.

On a barely related note, has anyone seen the Avs’ photo gallery of the players visiting Children’s Hospital on Thursday?
Kyle looks like he is twelve years old in those pics, especially wearing the Santa hat!
I would post at least one of the pics here but I have no idea what this site means by a picture’s url (don’t they mean the jpeg’s file name? Sigh).

Posting Pics
You have to put the .jpeg onto a photosharing service. I usually use either:
Since you can’t save the pictures directly, because of the way the Avs do their photo albums you ’ll need to circumvent it a little.
1) Open a photo editing program (photoshop, paint, etc)
2) Bring up whichever picture you eventually want to post on your monitor.
3) Hit Alt+Print Screen at the same time on your keyboard. This copies the window currently selected.(note: Pressing just print screen will copy the entire monitor image.)
4) go into your photo editing program and select "new"then Ctrl+V to paste the picture.
5) Edit photo as you want. Save it somewhere you will remember.
6) Open imageshack.us
7) Select image and then hit thebrowse button
8) locate the pic file you saved above and hit enter.
9) select resize image and use 320×240 for this board (or they start getting too big). If you skip this step the pic will be actual size
10) Click host it
11)You’ll be on a screen with a whole bunch of image pasting code. I don’t know why but you’ll have to the sentence go down to the very bottom of the page and click the + next to the sentence that says Show Advanced Linking.
12) copy the code in there… ignore where it says DO NOT Use Link Below when posting. Use FORUM Links above for posts
13) come back to this page and click the image button and then post in the code you just copied…

Posting Pics part II
If you find a pic on the internet you want to use, not in an avs gallery do this:
So I am going to post the Ian Laperriere headshot from this page, but I’m going to make it smaller through imageshack.us
1) Open that page in a browser.
2) right click on the photo and then select copy image location
3) Open Imageshack.us
4) Select url
5) Put your cursor in the box below that says “paste image here” and hit ctrl+v
6) Click host it
7)You’ll be on a screen with a whole bunch of image pasting code. I don’t know why but you’ll have to the sentence go down to the very bottom of the page and click the + next to the sentence that says Show Advanced Linking.
8) copy the code in there… ignore where it says DO NOT Use Link Below when posting. Use FORUM Links above for posts
9) come back to this page and click the image button and then post in the code you just copied…
10) select the image Icon at the top of the comment you are creating.
11) Press Ctrl+V to paste the image url into the box that is open. and then hit ok

Kyle was sent back down to finish his sixth grade book report. Seriously, do cops pull him over to check his driver’s license when he is driving a car?

Atleast he'll get to play now
It’s a waste having our young AHL call ups sitting in the press box, it’s not helping their development and they’re not gaining any experience, at least in the AHL he’ll be able to get some experience and game time so he’ll be a litle better when he gets called up again.
