Raycroft in Net Against Wings
I don't know if I even want to watch this game after seeing this news.

Would you prefer him in net against Philadelphia?
Thus guaranteeing we lose both games?
As for me, I know which situation I prefer.
(Neither. Let Budaj play back-to-back.)

Yup
Kinda makes the Wing-bashing thread moot now, eh? Except who cares if we lose to the Flyers even if we need the points. This is about pride and starting Raycroft means “we tank” before the game even starts.

Raycroft is 2-1-0 with a 1.85 GAA in three career starts against Detroit.
I guess that mean there is SOME hope, right?

Oh god
this is going to be a massacre, and I plan on watching this with a wings fan. Nice to see they’ve already thrown in the towel, and its not even the day of the game. Since when have they cared about playing Boods on back to back games.

Ooooh. If I were you, which I’m not ‘cause I’m not “modest or cute” as you put it, I would reconsider your game-buddy choice. On the other hand, smacking a Wings fan may make you feel better… I know I would feel better. Um, I have to stay away from everyone tomorrow excluding Avs fans.

Well it’s tough to be me, I’m reconsidering it, mainly cause the muppet wo’nt answer his phone making it tough to organize but you’re right, punching him may make me feel better, unless he goes all army on me.

The Hook
So when the inevitable flurry of goals starts flying does Granato put Budaj in or let Raycroft take the full brunt of the beating?

Reverse
We’re hoping he lets 7 goals in, Granato doesn’t take him out and he demands a trade to Montréal, like a reverse Patrick Roy curse or something.
I believe in Peter Budaj

Except Montreal isn’t stupid enough to accept that trade…

They were stupid enough to let Saint Patty go. Maybe they’ll give us Tanguay back. I’d also settle for Price
