Great game thread tonight guys and gals. I hope Tacogirl and her pappy had a good time. I didn’t watch any of the third period due to the impending choke-athon that appeared to be coming, but I tuned in for the last couple of minutes, all of OT, and the SO.

I’ll take any win and any point, but to go 2-for-2 against the Murder City Morons is especially sweet. Plus, that should help shut up all of the transplanted bandwagon jumping douche canoes who come to the Can and start Red Wings chants…

Granato’s interview was pretty funny. He talks about how great Smyth and Hejduk were and then he’s like “Arny was… uhh… He’ll understand it’s pretty easy to play with those two.”

Sorry i can’t participate much in my own blog or here this week. In-laws, including my 2-year old nephew, are here. Getting the computer and having time to use it has been kind of tough….

Anyone who says the rivalry is dead hasn’t been to The Can during a Wings/Avs game. Chants in the halls, in the game, in the elevator, fights after the game.

I had a total blast at the game tonight. Best thing about this game was the six or so guys in my row raising their glasses and screaming “Budaj!!!” after great saves. My gawd, my dad even started chanting “Budaj!!!” and has stated he is now a believer.

Thanks, Avs for giving my dad a great X-Mas present (and the rest of us too).

Just realized something….Redwings are 23-7-5 now and have 51pts already (Bastards).
How sweet is it that one of those seven regulation loses, and one of the five OT/SO loses have been against the Avs? Both have been with out Joe Sakic, and one with out Stastny.
