I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Brooks Orpik as an honorary member of the Colorado Avalanche for his tireless efforts to pound Detroit Red Wings into the boards and onto the ice. The award will be presented by Ian Laperriere (Claude Lemieux is unavailable).

True, but he’s taken it to a whole different level in the playoffs.
Plus he’s a UFA at the end of the season, so he could be yours for the low, low price of a couple of Mil, can of tuna and an unmarked white van.
