The Montreal Canadiens are rumoured to finally retire Patrick Roy's jersey. No Canadiens player has worn the number since he left.

I thought this was a joke post. I also thought that his name had been completely erased from the Canadiens’ team history.

Actually he’s in the Canadiens All time greatest team for NHL 09, admittedly you have to have him for their to be any sense in having the team but it does seem theyv’e gotten over his leaving. It seems Dead Wang fans bring it up more than Habs fans, go figure.
