The new NHL.com

Wow, that looks abosolutely SICK! The old one was way too drab and boring. I never understood why the old one had so much yellow in it either. But this is just awesome, I like the "darkness" of it. They should have some exclusive content on it now, so it will actually be worth visiting (they usually simply regurgitate Associated Press stories). And they partnered with Yahoo to provide fantasy hockey, so no more crappy NHL.com fantasy hockey (which a lot of people actually suffered through, and paid for, tsk tsk). And that new, free "gamecenter" feature should be cool too. About time the NHL added something like that, all the other major leagues' websites have it. It's now by far the best sports league website imo.

btw, why are we getting outshot 31-14 by the Kings? I know it's preseason, but damn...

Damnit, we lost 4-3 :( At least Smytty scored twice. And from what I can tell on the scoresheet Boots was solid.

We always done that against the Kings

Power play looked better…Liles was shooting from the point. Hejduk didn’t play in the third (hope its not an injury)
Avs still can’t score in the shootout.
Boots kept the Avs in the game in the second, especially at the end of the period when the Kings were camped in the Avs zone (4-15 shots).
Bacashihua did pretty well in the third, but again face a bunch of shots (5-17).

Now and then we had the hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be PIRATES.
