Pre-Season Radio
For anyone living in Colorado the Avs website has a list of what radio stations will be broadcasting the pre season games along with some hype for the frozen fury game and a recap and schedule for the pre season.
ON THE AIR: Tonight’s game can be heard in Denver on Mile High Sports Radio AM 1510…All six preseason games plus all 82 regular season contests can be heard on AM 1510…There will be no television for the preseason, as Altitude Sports & Entertainment will begin its television coverage of the Avalanche on Oct. 12 at Edmonton…Below is a list of the stations in addition to AM 1510 that will be carrying the Avs’ preseason games:
KRCN 1060 AM Fort Collins, Greeley, Loveland, and Boulder, CO
KVLE 610 AM Vail, CO
KSKE 1450 AM Buena Vista and Salida, CO
KKKK 1580 AM Colorado Springs and Pueblo, CO
KVLE 102.3 FM Gunnison, CO
KVLE 93.5 FM Crested Butte and Monarch, CO
Interestingly enough it says that Altitude will start showing the regular season from Oct 12 against Edmonton. Don't the Avs start the season against the Bruins. Why isn't Altitude showing the season opener?

good gave vs LA so far
Hendricks and Tucker scored for us, Molson for LA. Sounds like a fightfest so far
bang bang
2 goals for LA in a bout 30 seconds, Raycroft not faring too well.
First goal went high glove side, the second high blocker. I was hoping to see Bacashihua in the third, but Raycroft played better. It seemed like every call went against the Avs in that third period and they played most of it a man down.
Now and then we had the hope that if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be PIRATES.

Stewart apparently hurt on a high sticking call, no additional goals in the second so far…
2 down, 1 to go... Gettin' the band back together 08-09
BTW
Donuts is sounding like a monster D-man for the Kings. He may be an exception to the rule when it comes to calling in D early in their career (if the Kings need him).
