Rich Peverly waived- FG take notice
FG- It's ok to waive crappy players (yeah, I'm talking about Tyler "donut hole" Arnason here) who do nothing for your team except make the fans bitch and moan. Especially given the strong play of a few of your younger players lately. Just take a look at the numbers- (after all, "the numbers are the numbers, folks")
Peverly 2-7-9 in 27 games, The Arnageddeon 2-9-11 in 41 games.
It would seem that SOMEBODY would take Arnason off your hands. Of course, Peverly actually is on pace for better numbers per game, but Atlanta can't have the only crappy GM, can they?

uh oh
The doughnut hole name is catching on. :)
I hope with the current play of Dupuis, and with guys like Guite, Lappy, and Hensiiick in the mix, we can finally ship Arnason to LE. Sorry LE and the Monsters but he should be your problem now. Dupuis’s play the last two games looks good. There is no reason Guite shouldn’t be playing (unless the ribs are still bothering him). Hensiiick is questionable right now, he continues to have flashes. And Hopefully Lappy is back very soon.
Arny is not a 1st or 2nd line center, and he isn’t physical enough for the 4th line. Time to ship him off and see if anyone picks him up on waivers…

He really has been poor
If I were doing DD’s mid-season report card thing, I’d give Arny, Tucker and Hensick all Fs so far.

Tyler “I’m not going to LEM” Arnason isn’t going to LEM, he needs to be dumped on another team.
Preferably the Deadwings.
That’d be good.
A friend and I
came up with the same brilliant solution you did…only for Tucker, instead.

That would be no good, as Tucker is perfectly capable (both mentally and physically) of slashing up JML with his own skates. He’ll probably murder our entire team.
That was my response!
as the original idea was stashing him on the Kings, but figured there might be a chance he’d be forced to live in Detroit but they wouldn’t play him.

As long as Arnason (and Tucker) no longer play for the Avs, I’m good with it. I like jon havens new post with a lineup that includes neither. I prefer healthy scratches though as Tommelot is correct, Tucker would probably not be above coming back in and injuring any of our guys (read, Forsberg) were he playing on another team.
I blame it all on my goalie
