4sberg return date game
o.k. predict the date that the savior returns to hockey (ie the avalanche). I'll say February 20th against the caps and he overshadows ovechkin and semin (insert your own joke) If you are a glass half empty guy you can go with never, I know I'm being overly optimistic because my head is telling me some time in march, but I do think when it happens it happen quickly. If you win you get a whole lot of nothing.

Ok, I'll play.
Friday, October 21, 2011 when they raise #21 to the rafters at the Pepsi Center.
Colorado Avalanche: Gellin' and Propellin'!!!
Actually, the NHL trade deadline is March 4th. And the Avs are playing the Red Wings that day. I’m also picking that as my day for a Forsberg return – if he does return.
That will be the Avs’ first home game in 6 straight games – almost two weeks. I am guessing that Forsberg would sign a contract a few weeks before the deadline and have those couple of weeks to skate on his own and get into shape. Have a practice or two with the team and be good to go versus the Red Wings!

Assuming he has a $5 million dollar salary
and returns after that game, he would only cost the Avs $1,036,000 of their $5,255,000 in cap space.
Yes, there is a reason I know that off the top of my head.
I am Jack's unbridled optimism.

Just in time for use to beat the Redwings for a fourth time?

Yeah, that’s the only good thing on my birthday this year: the trade deadline. WOOOOO
Go Avs! Let's get some goals!
Well today's mine
and the Avs didn’t give me what I wanted.

Trade Deadline
and playing against the Wings. Yup, I’m in for that one too.
When hell freezes over, I'll play hockey there too!

My prediction
Not soon enough. Sorry, was that not very positive. OK, how about this: I’m positive it won’t be soon enough.

Playoffs?

I cant pick a date
But I’d like it to be somewhat late. In that case we would have more cap room to get someone else in the Positively unlikely event we are making a run for the cup.
I blame it all on my goalie
I refuse to play along
Untill you replace 4sberg with his real name.

He makes a valid point, this Savage person who believes he deserves the honorific of The, much like The Baron…

I do deserve The that The Baron has. IKt’s just the man trying to keep me down.

You deserve it?
When was the last time you lead in a GDT oh mighty King?
I don’t think you’ve lead since SoS played a game.

It doesn’t matter that I haven’t lead lately, Plus they rarely get updated, once again the man trying to keep me down, I add colour(and yes, that is the correct spelling you dumb americans who think everything should be changed to suit you, face it. No one likes you) and entertainment. Plus I’m just awesome.

I thought you Canadians added that extra “u” shenanigans just because you wished everything was French? Color comes from Latin, colōrētur, so hah!

Sorry
I request that the court strike my previous post and replace it with “your mother.” Always a good one!

It would be hilarious
If Foppa does come back, and the equipment managers, as a joke, put “Jesus” on the back of his unipron per JonHaven’s profile pic. Of course, 99% of Colorado Springs would be in an uproar, but I would think it was funny.

Agreed
It would be worth the risk of losing the CS fan base.

I don't know
but I’ll watch that game and be excited about it… as opposed to my current Avalanche game viewings which are preceded by a shoulder shrug and a lack of options.

I’m going the DVR then only speed through it if it sounds worth it route. In other words, I haven’t seen a minute of last night’s game, and I doubt that I will. Sad when the team isn’t even worth watching. Sorry, positively isn’t worth watching.

Thank goodness for me the Sabres are at least making their games interesting. Center Ice is expensive.

That was a crazy game last night.
Glad the Sabres won out, but my fantasy isn’t liking the fact that Miller gave up 4 goals.

I’m going to add this little caveat to my prediction:
This is pretty much a must-win tonight for the BWCB. A division game, at home, with home games the rest of the month. It’s now or never time for this team. They must win a large majority of these games if they want ANY hope at all of making the playoffs.
http://blogs.denverpost.com/avs/2009/01/16/pathetic/
The Avs HAVE to do well at home this month and be at least in a postion for a playoff spot for Forsberg to consider re-signing with the team.

I doubt that. Foppa has enough of a god-complex to sign with the Avs as long as there’s only a shred of hope left for them to make the play-offs.
He’s not coming back to a team that doesn’t have a chinaman’s chance of making the playoffs. Being good and One who enjoys being the hero does not a moron make. He’s not having his feet broken, reset, operated on, and rehabbed every season to only play a couple games in March. Come on, now.

I don’t think we’re good enough for Forsberg to be interested in coming back at all.
I hope I’m wrong.
You could be right, but the Avs weren’t exactly setting the world on fire when he came back last year so I’ll keep my little candle lit just in case.
