Interesting Interview Tidbit from Liles
My boyfriend had this to say about the team's philosophy on putting shots on net: "Now it's OK to first and foremost shoot first and look to pass second. In the past, that hasn't been the case."
Looks like Coach G is taking a new offensive direction with the team, which would explain all the blueline shots during PPs lately. Me likey.

We saw them get away from that ‘strategy’ against Phoenix the other night. Hopefully it was one of those things that you chalk up to change and that some nights the old habits return. I hope those nights continue to get fewer, while the ‘new strategy’ becomes more common. The lone goal in the Phoenix game came from one of those point shots. Avs need to keep it up…
