Let's all laugh at the doctor, only because him and I have had major disagreements over Brett Clark, and I'm an extremely poor winner.

wtf? Are we all going to start making fanshots about our fellow posters? Should I air out every supposed mistake you have made so we can laugh at you with a nice front page link? What does this gain for those of us at MHH?

Besides, although Clark has underperformed this year it does not erase how great he had played leading into this contract. I already replied to you that the_doctor has mentioned that Clark is not playing as well this year and is open to moving him. Even still, Clark is still our best transition passing defenseman and until a couple of recent bad games was one of our better 5v5 guys statistically.

I thought Jibs was just engaging in some friendly teasing. People here seem to be very friendly with everyone else, so I just generally give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Everybody gets it wrong every once in a while (or more often), despite most people’s best efforts, and we all can laugh about it and ourselves here.

Yes, there was nothing serious about this fanpost at all, sorry if it came out that way.

I was hoping that was the case but the post sounded a bit curt is all. It is hard to convey tone over the internet.

I have to disagree
Everybody gets it wrong every once in a while (or more often)

I never get it wrong, Infact I have never been wrong in my entire life, I am that damn good. really my greatness is becoming a bit of a burden.

Like I said there’s nothing serious about this, but I already point out my own mistakes so we can all laugh at me as well.

Or have we forgotten about this already?

much love buddy, but i deserve some ribbing here.

more ribbing
He’s a complete package with great one on one defensive skills, and stays out of the box.

if you're going to be a dick about it...

at least pick things I was actually wrong about. Clark IS a good one on one guy, especially with the way he leverages his shot blocking. His struggles this year have been in other areas:

  • he’s found his inner Skoula — terrible turnovers have plagued him more and more
  • he’s play watching when his man doesn’t have the puck instead of actually covering people in his zone.
  • he’s had major issues clearing the zone
  • his PKing has gone from ok to abhorrent
  • he’s not putting points on the board

I mean, I already knew you were continually wrong on almost every hockey prediction you make and that you very rarely have anything worth saying or insightful in the slightest on your abomination of web design blog, but now you’re adding being a dick to your repertoire…and STILL you manage to insert your failure of hockey commentary into that as well?

Ouch

I was just joking.. that really hurt

(didn’t really hurt, assuming you were joking)

On that note, It’s probably time to stop this before it goes too far (if it hasn’t already).

i too am joking, mostly. I’m not joking about your blog, it’s pretty damn ugly. :)

I do admit, sarcasm and ribbing is hard to pick up though when not accompanied by a grin irl. I am unoffended and knew there wasn’t anything personal here, but this still isn’t exactly good precedent for the community. Agreed we should probably should chill now red-wing lover.

everyone chill

Clark has not been good value. I was way wrong, and I think I was just a tad too glowing there — it’s pretty funny. Win some, lose some.

though i do admit seeing a post titled laugh at the doctor was a little weird. gloves are off now jibbles!
