It sucked so badly, but I kinda miss it now that it’s gone. It was way better than the lady currently on in between periods on Altitude…

It was awful. The fact that they’ve gone and replaced it with something else shouldn’t make you miss it! Please, they might actually think it was any good and make even more crappy commercials with NHL stars.

I liked the “He’s here to remind you the season’s started” ones from the NHL, and pretty much every NHL commercial to be honest, but the cardealer commercials (mainly the one with the “allstar treatment”) are awful.

The car dealer commercials with Penguin players are even worse than Quenville…if that is possible.

They’re each awful in their own way. The GMC commercial is bad in a “Christ, this is stupid” kinda way. The Pens commercial is bad in a “Are you fucking kidding me, they actually put that on television????” kind of way.

Speaking of commercials,

I like some of the altitude/avs ones this year, but does it seem to anyone else that they are ripping off the espn theme? Not that I blame them, it was definately “time for a line change”

yea they are, but in general the Altitude ones are better. ESPN needs to find something new because it’s gotten old over there.

Speaking more of commercials

At least we know we’ll never lose SoS to an acting career. Man those 20/20 commercials are bad. And speaking of that lady who does Altitude commentary between period, I swear she is drunk half the time. And speaking even more of commercials, were any ever as great as those Nike hockey goalie commercials? One of my favorites is here.
