Well, the witness protection program has booted them all out so here are the MHHers' mugs in full view...well, all except Jibbles. I hear the mob is still after him. Of course, that could be a mob of prairie dogs, but who's judging, right? As you can see -and probably already realized- Dario is a bit off his rocker. = )

Thanks for re-posting, Beachie. We kinda split soon after most everyone arrived so I forgot which faces were which names except for Dario, you, BiB, and Drakenlot, and Canary. I also remember what Jibbles looks like but I swear, I won’t tell.

Well my daughter only wears her helmet if she wants to ( I don’t force it), and sometimes I do tell my wife that she just needs to let my son fall, crash, jump off the table, and hurt himself, then maybe he’ll learn and maybe he won’t. He’s a boy after all.
Still there are some things you should not let your kids do…

True
There does have to be some parental responsibility. Especially when out in public. And of course overprotective is better than negligent. But I just think sometimes we are screwing with survival of the fittest and dumbing down the gene pool.

Being 21 just gets better and better, No-one can stop me from swinging on a rail, or trying to walk up/down a narrow cylindrical rail, or trying to jump onto a 4 foot high very narrow guard rail. Yes people do walk away very quickly, almost like they’re embarrased to be seen with me and end up laughing hysterically when I come to a painful conclusion. But they can’t stop me.

I wanted to buy a Duchene jersey, but am think I might wait until the new third is unveiled.
They did have a Guite unipron on sale ($85), and if they’d had an XL instead of a L, I might have actually bought it. But to buy a Unipron that’s a little small…..I passed.

See…this is why I never got a Sakic jersey. I’m so anti-mainstream that I refuse to get what everyone else is getting. At first I was all over the Duchene third. Then, with all the hype around him, I thought, “noooo, I’ll get o’reilly!” but now he’s kicking ass and so popular that I just don’t know. I might have to go Quincey on this one.

Anti-mainstream
I’m that way too. My fav player almost always seems to be a spare part/non-popular. During the cup years: Stephane Yelle (I still have my #26 white Yelle Sweater). For the Broncos in the 80s… Mark Jackson.
But these days I have trouble investing in a $145 sweater knowing that next seaosn it could be out-of date with all the player movement. I’d love to have gotten a Smyth sweater…. but it would be out of date now.
So that limits me to, in my opinion, Hejduk (soon to retire) Stastny, Quincey, Duchene, and O’Reilly. Everyone else could be shipped out at any minute I think

I have an old Kings away jersey that still has the same colors they wear today…I’m SO ordering a number kit with Smytty’s name to put on it. That move this summer finally solidified a reason for me to root for the hometown boys. He got an assist on the game winner tonight, btw. Love him.

And yeah
I’m the same way with the anti-mainstream stuff. My Broncos jerseys that I’ve bought over the years have been non-star players, except Terrell Davis. I bought a Moreno jersey on the day I moved back to Denver because he was my favorite player in college football last year, but he might be becoming a star now =(

I concur. If you’re going to get another man’s name on your back, it might as well be Kyle Quincey. Less popular than the forwards but still a critical player.
