He graduated from the law school the same year I was born.
But seriously, don’t read too much into it. For one, nearly every attorney in the Louisville Metro area went to Louisville’s law school, and two, he didn’t charge them with misdemeanors because he has loyalty to his alma mater, he charged them with misdemeanors because Pitino and Dean Jurich (the Athletic Director) paid him off. Duh.
The Avs may (or may not) suck now, but they've still won a Cup more recently than 75% of the NHL.

Well,
I agree with that assessment, but to me it didn’t look like the guy was that close when he started swinging his stick. To me it looked like he was trying to get his balance back after falling. The arms were above the head, and he brought them, and his stick, back down. Now granted, it was tucker and I could be full of it, but it still hit him on the shoulder and it was still as much of a missed call as the puck hitting the screen. I mean, how the FUCK do you miss that?

Wow, what a game! I’m so happy for Cumiskey and also really happy that Sacco has so much trust in him. I mean really, the last couple times Cumiskey’s been called up in previous seasons he’s looked so unconfident and turnover-prone. And the first several games of this season, wow, he was just sucking it up. But I think he’s really turned it around. Looks like all he needed was that little confidence booster and he got it from Sacco giving him good minutes. Seriously, this is awesome, great coaching.
