With so many teams in towns where hockey isn't even appreciated it'd be nice to see Quebec get a hockey team again.

There aren’t really any teams outside of Phoenix that are close to moving. And I don’t think there should be will be any expansion teams.

Soooo, I don’t know what they are expecting to have happen. I guess Nashville could possibly be ready to move by the time the arena gets built, or they could petition the NHL to let Phoenix stay where it is until Quebec is ready for it. An Olympic bid is far off too.

Thanks Joe...

Perhaps the Isles

They could be on the move sooner than later. Charles Wang pulled the plug on the Lighthouse Project.

I agree with Jibbles, though. Quebec wouldn’t be able to support its own NHL team. As much as Canadian people hate to hear it, the most logical thing is moving to one of two American cities – KC or Seattle. Hamilton is the only really viable Canadian city.

I’ve argued this 100 x before, but Quebec is just too small for a hockey team. I don’t think they will be able to support it.

If they do manage to get the team, we’ll trade them back their history/old uniform rights if they can get the colorado rockies back from new jersey for us.

This team will make the playoffs and upset the Sharks in the first round...it's our turn.
