The Kansas City Coyotes kind of has a ring to it. It will be the first good team in KC in a long while.

The toothless 19 were debating whether or not 30 should be raised to the rafters just yesterday. They actually had mixed opinions on that, but almost every single one of them said he should be in the HoF. LOFL at EZ.

At the same time, the guy I wanted in the off-season Ondrej Pavelec gave up quite a doozy himself…ala Vesa Toskala

I watched that game last night. That was unbelievable. Then, he game up a couple of other goals within 16 second of each other. Rough night for him.

That was his first bad outing of the year. (I picked him up off waivers, and he’s been lights out. Luckily I benched him last night cause he was playing the Caps.)

The best thing to come out of all of that was Kevin Weekes’ comment on NHL On the Fly when the horrible host asked him if Pavelec was uncomfortable. Weekes said “The forwards and defenseman get paid on the 1st and 15th too.” Basically saying the whole team looked like crap and Pavelec’s performance was just a highly visual indicator.

From their toothless leader, he actually had the nerve, and stupidity, to compare Osgood to Roy as a playoff performer:

Two consecutive playoffs that Roy’s postseason stats don’t rival. It’s a decent argument that Chris Osgood’s last two years have put him in the same conversation as Bobbing in Boulder’s fantasy boy Patty.

I slapped him down pretty good with “facts” and “data.” And “reality.”
