has had plenty of chance to rest Andy by letting Weiman start or Budaj in Vancouver, I’d say he has no confidence in either.

I really don’t think it’s a lack of confidence in his backups that is behind his decision. Andy is deep in a rhythm and is putting up some of the most impressive goalie numbers in years. As long as Andy seems able, I’m sure Sacco will go with him. No indictment of Budaj at all.

last night was one of his best performances to date. if he’s slowing down, i can’t see it. why sit him when he’s doing so well and isn’t showing signs of fatigue?

I sure hope Joe and Beachie are right. I think Boods is just fine as the backup and I don’t hope that Sacco is lacking confidence. I just can’t see why you would buck the currently held beliefs in the NHL that a goalie needs a break once in a while.
