As much as I’m reveling in the Belichick hate… he made the right call.

I’m staying with AD’s theory…cause I can kinda see it being very plausible…they have grown overconfident.

Bummed I'm missing this one
But prior obligations (unfortunately, not the mini-golf kind) call. And I’m over an hour late for those. That’s when the difficulty really ramps up. We’ve been taking our sweet ass time making sure we get every coin and alternate route. Factor in the game getting super difficult and you have what was a fast-moving piece of ass kicking slowing down to a serious grindfest. It’s very, very awesome. The end Bowser fight is the hottest thing ever, too.

I haven’t missed a game all season, and I still fail to see why Clark is everyone’s whipping boy. He blocks a shit ton of shots, and wasn’t his work responsible for that opening goal?
I agree with you about Preissing, however.
But last season he seemed to block his goalies view, more than he blocked shots. He also had issues with turnovers and just has not played the best since his injury two season ago.
This season he has been better though.

He’s been a lot better this year,
But he still has a tendancy to try to skate out of the zone instead of making the simple pass at times, and once a game he has a god awful turnover.

I agree that he has the occasional brain cramp carrying the puck, but this entire team has stuggled with headmanning the puck all season long. Clark could be worse…he could be Salei.
I think Salei is a touch better, although different players. Salei is stronger and better positioning in his own end, for man defense.
Clark is supposed to be an Offensive D-man but doesn’t generate much offense.

In all honestly, I’m ready to get both Salei and Clark off the books to make room for Shattenkirk, Cohen, and the kids. The future of the back end looks good, for sure.

I like Salei a lot, but the Avs need to shed his and Clark’s contracts..
I hope Salei gets back and plays well so he has some good trade value at the deadline. Salei and Clark are probably our best 2 assets, and the best part is they are expendable even if the Avs are challenging for the playoffs.

This was a big, big win right here. What clutch saves by Anderson there with about 2 minutes left. And what a fight by Quincey! Did you guys see how he hard he threw that first punch at Bourque? Borque’s visor was knocked down all the way to his mouth! If that little wimp would have taken off his helmet like a man, that punch might have knocked him out.
