I started typing out a guess, and I couldn’t bear going through with it. can’t help but wonder if we might see Hendricks with Duchene, as Hendricks really had a great game and one of his several good plays was a slick pass to Duchene to start him on a breakaway
Hyphens cause writers more trouble than any other form of punctuation, except perhaps commas.

Why dress Koci if he isn’t going to play?
So that Sacco can double shift one of the stud centers who is destroying the other team’s defense and help the Avs win because then the defense can’t key on him every shift and he can score twice as many points. It should work right?

I know where they called the penalty, I just disagree with the call.
The puck was flipped up and there were 2-3 sticks in the air around it. Playing the puck with a high stick, sure. Delay of game…weak!

Hi everyone, sorry to crash, but I’m a Japers’ Rink poster with a question. Ovechkin appears to have gotten hurt, again, tonight, and we got to start talking about Forsberg and all of the injuries that he suffered.
Considering that Forsberg was kinda like Ovechkin in their playing styles (or vice versa), do any of you happen to know whether Forsberg was always a little frail as a player, or was there a string of injuries, or a single major injury, that sort of got him started?

Forsberg was more of a victim of his style of play. He was a very tough player, but by playing so physical he created some of his problems later in life.

I typically get Altitude’s HD broadcasts. For some reason I never get SUN HD, even though they do broadcast it in high definition. Tonight I just get SUN, and only SD, and it’s bloody annoying because I actually like Tampa and would really like to see them not in blurrovision.
At least I know not to stretch an SD picture on a widescreen TV (looking at you, Vancouver pubs).

I wear an old Avalanche baseball hat (pictured in my avatar) around town. Was told by a bus driver that he wouldn’t let me on while wearing it. He was joking, of course.
My girlfriend was very nice and surprised me with tickets to the game a week or so ago, the one where Anderson’s brain went crazy. This is despite her being an intense Canucks fan.

I lived in San Francisco last year, and Verizon has a really nice North America from anywhere/to anywhere deal that includes Canada for $10 more. Thus, I have a BlackBerry with unlimited data that’s constantly on roaming.

It really is. My dad’s also got about four phones (business), so I snuck in on his “family plan” (for business), which had a buy one, get one deal for BlackBerries. So, free phone. Worked really well.
Only problem is I have to use my Canadian phone for texting because it costs everyone here about $0.25 to text to/from a US number.

I just am suspect of a guy that has a breakout year at age 33. I also saw him play in the AHL right before he got called up to BOS and his rise to fame started and he speared a guy in the face.

Yeah, its odd for a goalie to have a breakout that old. Hist style seems to require a good defense to clear any rebounds and bail him out as well. He seems to get annoyed pretty easily as well but that doesn’t seem to screw his game up too much

Not even close. He missed a shift or two but came back to play the whole game (and nail a much smaller player from behind). AO was in much worse shape. It was painful to watch.

I just ordered a Duchene jersey. Free customization on nhl.com today and free shipping so it was only $115. I know it will be glued on nam and number instead of sewn on, but for that price, it’s ok.

Wish Dutchie would have been shifted in of O that last 45 sec or so. Still, real happy with the win. Quite possibly the best all around game and victory the avs had had this year. At least lately, for sure.
