Big Night For Trailor

Tayler Arnason gave his Riga fans - all 2,750 of them - something to cheer about last night as he scored his first two KHL goals to contribute to the Dinamo's 3-2 win over Spartak. Arnason scored his first goal just 3:13 into the contest, assisted by Martin Kariya and Roberts Burkarts. His second goal was all Arnie - unassisted. He doesn't need no stinkin' help; he's Trailor Arnason!
The Dinamo host HC MVD again on Wednesday and then have 4 days to prepare for the big game on Monday against theNizhnekamsk of Neftekhimik. Or maybe its the Neftekhimik of Nizhnekamsk.

Either way, it should be full of win, and entertainment!

2 goals?
He’s turned into a real offensive Dinamo.
I thought you knew that algebra was all razzamatazz. A Globetrotter always saves the good algebra for the final minutes.
Did he change his # to 99?

I might be starting the Bring Back Arny campaign soon!

You’re really getting a treasure trove of Arnason pics, aren’t you?

(1) Is that a plastic bag wrapped around his sticks? Talk about low budget.
(2) Joe, are you switching up your profile name again?

I don’t know why but I thought “Daryl” was hilarious.

Is it weird that I’m happy for him? Or that I like that he’s being successful? I might have to pick up one of his jerseys… Go Trailor!

Being happy for him and liking his success isn’t weird… but wanting a jersey? That might be a little much.
Forever grateful that Joe Sakic isn't a douche bag like Brett Favre.

Meanwhile, Arnason can't wait.
Just look at him:

A 2nd round rookie in the race for Calder? ORLY? Ya RLY!
So I’m in Moscow right now, and will be for the next two weeks or so. I’ve been an Avalanche fan for quite some time now, growing up just north in Wyoming. I’ve been trying to see a KHL game while over in Russia, but haven’t had any luck yet. Maybe I’ll go see how good ol’ Trailor is doin next time Dynamo Riga is in Moscow. :)

That would be AWESOME!!!

Haha I’ll definitely get something signed and posted on here if i see him. To be honest, I expected Russia to have a much more active hockey fan base than it does, so finding games and stadiums is quite difficult. My Russian isn’t great right now, so I’m sure that doesn’t help either. If anyone could help find a Dynamo R schedule, I’d appreciate it. :)

ya i dont think i can make that. Damn! I would have loved to get an autograph from Trailor. I definitely plan on seeing a game here though as cheap as seats are.

What’s the price to see a game over there?

The cheap seats start at 50 rubles, or about a buck 40. The most expensive seats go for 1200 rubles, which still isn’t bad, about 30 USD. Right now the dollar is worth just under 30 rubles.

I’m moving to Russia and getting glass season tickets for few clubs, damn!
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

It is my dream
To see a MHH cheering squad a la the Swiss Abby fan club show up at a Dynamo game. Granted, I wanted him off the ice as quickly as possible with the Avs. But now? I feel an odd urge to see him thrive in the KHL. How funny/awesome would it be for Trailors to show up to a game in Kharnivorhstovk to see a large contingent of fans cheering his every play? Yes, I know, VERY funny/AWESOME.
Trailor’s for sale or rent…

I just noticed
He’s wearing the same shirt as the pic above.
Must be his lucky shirt, he looks happiest when wearing it.
A 2nd round rookie in the race for Calder? ORLY? Ya RLY!
Or Maybe
That’s the only shirt he owns. He’s wearing it in Las Vegas AND Russia. Maybe we need to get him some MHH gear. A shirt that says “I am loved at MHH”.

i was thinking, other blogs (ie pensblog) has sweet merch, you think MHH could get some t shirts?

I'm too lazy to search if the thread exists, but....
Would he be the first line or second line centre on the all time Worst Avs Players list?
I vote first line
With Bates Battaglia and Jeff Shantz. Never mind the positions; they could make it work. Skoula should probably be on D along with … I don’t know, Breezeby? Maybe not the worst five players, but probably the easiest to pick on. Worrell might warrant a spot.
What?
No wyatt smith? He cracks the first line for sure.
Get rid of the loser point

Forgot about him
He’s just so forgettable. I’m sure he could skate on that line too and no one would notice the extra man.
