Russian site lifesports.ru reports that a forward from Vityaz Chekhov ran into Gerber during the second period of the game, leaving the Swiss goalie lying on the ice.
Sounds like running the goalie is becoming a problem in Hockey, not just the NHL.

ridiculous. i watched a lot of stoa and mercier during their college years at minnesota and miami, respectively. both were the best players on their teams (in addition to nashville’s ryan jones for miami). is the future of this team exciting or what?
