I think it’s understandable that people who have been proven to be so wrong would be hesitant to jump on the bandwagon all of the sudden. Think how dumb you’d look if you picked the rangers to suck, changed your mind after their first 8 games, then had to flip flop again. People would wonder if you were running for president.

I don’t think, at this point, it is “all of a sudden” to say that Colorado has a chance to make the playoffs. It’s almost half way through the season.

I didn't mean that
I meant more that they’d want to be doubly sure before changing any of their predictions. Now is a good time to do this. I think a lot of people even around here said “let’s wait til the 30 game mark before we rush to conclusions”. Hell, we said that last year. (And were still mostly wrong)

I guess my point in posting this is that some people are finally admitting they were wrong in the first place. Others are still holding on to the idea that the Avs are not the team they appear to be. The latter camp continues to infuriate me.

Some won't admit their wrong until the Avs are hoisting the Cup.
Even then, I can see them making up some sort of excuse.
