Justin Mercier and Ryan Stoa Reassigned to Lake Erie
I think this might just be because the Avalanche are off until Saturday and Lake Erie plays tomorrow night in Manitoba. If Svatos and Hejduk are still injured and if Koci is indeed suspended, expect to see a couple of players coming back up on Saturday.

I think that it’s a real testament to this team and these young players that they’ve been able to field basically a full line of rookie/AHL forwards at times due to injury and stay competitive (last game withstanding).

Though not all of the following are rookies, the following youngins have seriously overachieved this year: Jones, Stewart, O’Reilly, Wilson, and Galiardi. Others have been solid, too.

Weird though, because Lake Erie doesn’t play again until tomorrow…why not just keep them up that extra day? Instead of sending them…well nevermind. They are in Manitoba on Friday and Saturday, so I guess that would be closer to Denver if they are needed
As noted, I am not a big Peter Budaj fan. Just so everyone knows...you know, so people don't have to point it out every post. That doesn't mean I want him to fail, as some have suggested...that is all

you only get paid per game right? I hope it’s not because they’re cheap. Maybe there was no practice for the avs and there is one for LE

in the NHL, you get paid per day.

I think it’s nice the Avs gave them a taste, but LE is where they should be imo.

definately agree, they both did ok, but don’t seem quite ready to contribute at the NHL level.

both did pretty well
Mercier looked like he could be a solid 4th liner right now, Stoa did bettter than I thought he would and showed some skill, though he’s a wreck defensively and slow slow slow.

per Dater, Hejduk will play Saturday.
