Cumiskey to play against Sens?
I have been waiting to hear this news! I love to watch Cumiskey skate and the Avalanche lineup will be that much faster!! Hopefully he will not be too rusty from recovery from injury. Who on defense would you sit? Or would you not bring back Cumiskey right now? I am curious to hear from fellow MHHers on your thoughts. I think I would probably sit Hannan. Maybe put Cumiskey on a defensive pairing with Quincey or Brett Clark.

This!
Hannan has been our best defenseman over the course of the year. Footer has (mostly) played well, but been hurt and Quincey was a rock star early, but has regressed to “just” pretty damned solid. Liles has had his moments, mostly bad, and has been hurt, and Wilson has been VERY good (for a rookie – he made some bad plays too, but just a few).
Clark, on the other hand, drives me to drink. Hard stuff. And whisky is expensive. And he doesn’t pick up my tab. Damn him!!!

I’m surprised about Hannan and Foote getting a vote each. Maybe it’s to rest them for the next night against Detroit? I think I’d run with 7 D. But who knows what Sacco will do.

Put Cumsikey back with Foote
Leave Hannan and Quincey together
Play Wilson with either Liles or Clark. Personally keep Liles in for his offensive side…He has much more upswing then does Clark in that area.

Just preference I suppose...
Hannan is good on the Defensive end I prefer to have defensemen out there that are more capable to contribute on the offensive side of things. I like Hannan, I just don’t want to see any of the other guys sit. I don’t understand the Clark comment though, Clark is a puck blocking machine!
Clark is a puck blocking machine,
because he is a paragon in the art of avoiding playing proper defense. He would have to block infinitely fewer shots if he would simply stand up at the blueline, play the skater, or any other number of basic defensive hockey principles that most players at the peewee level could recite by heart (even if they’re picking their nose or chasing flies whilst doing so).
Clark’s complete refusal and/or inability to play his position properly, coupled with his weakness on the puck and dearth of passing talent makes him the bucket full of fail that he is.
