Lake Erie Monster Photos (From Monsters/Wolves AHL Affair)
Here are some of the photos I snapped during Friday's game between the Lake Erie Monsters and the Chicago Wolves. I don't have much of a detailed report of the game, because I spent much of the time talking with friends, and trying to keep watch on a crazy 3-year-old. But a good time was had by all, even though the Monsters lost (though they did play a good game after a sloppy first 15 minutes or so).

Again the Monsters lost 3-2. Trevor Cann had a rough 1 period giving up 2 goals on 8 shots. He was replaced in the 2nd period by Billy Sauer, who saved 15 of 16 and earned the 3rd star.

You're lucky
Under-12 gets a pass on the whole “Their own name on the back” rule.
Good pics

Not sure he gets a pass for wearing the Wolves jersey instead of a Monster’s jersey though.

I'm The Canary - but I'm not cute nor cuddly, and I don't sing.
He lives in Chi, and it’s not a direct competitor of the Avs… I’ll allow it.

I have my name on my Avs jersey.
You know why?
Because even I had dreams once. So suck it.
A little rudeness and disrespect can elevate a meaningless interaction to a battle of wills and add drama to an otherwise dull day.
The only jerseys that have my name on it
Is the ones I wore when I was in rep hockey where the teams could afford to put the player’s name on the back.
Most of my jerseys had things like Bob’s Carpentry, Pizzaville, AMC Theatre, etc. for the name slot.
Damn cheap houseleague.
Nowadays, my name only appears on a jersey inside NHL10.
I need a new sig, since i think I cursed ORLY by promoting him.
Up close I found the Monster jerseys to be quite sweet. I may purchase one of them (when I get money)…instead of a new Avs 3rd
I was thinking about buying one of the black LEM alternates.
