I found a neat little site on the intrawebs and whipped up a quick 10-question survey to take the pulse of Av's nation as we approach the trade deadline. Take a look.

I took that to mean the guys the Avalanche could actually move such as Salei and not Tyler Arnason and Sham Wow! since no teams would take them. Hopefully that was the correct interpretation

I took it as the person most likely to be of value in a trade. Unfortunately that means Hejduk. Second would be Liles. Smyth is right in there as well.

As much as we would all love to see Arnason and/or Tucker out the door, I doubt any team in the league sees them as being of any value.

I didn't like the question as worded

So answered it as it wasn’t worded and added an explanation for my answers in the “Other” box. I don’t want them to trade any valuable assets, just unload all of their junk for whatever they can get, even it it isn’t much, and build aroud the assets they have left.

It actually is pretty depressing to see what FG (and PL before him) has assembled. Back in the good old days, the Avs had assets to trade up the wazzoo for proven guys that could put them over the top. Now they have a whole lotta crap that other teams probably won’t take off of their hands.

So, what Islander players will be bought out after this season that FG can sign?

Probably should have worded it better

It was meant as a “Who can the Avs realistically shop and get value back that would make moving player X palpable?” with an emphasis on the realistic part.

Still, We’re at 41 responses and the results are pretty much what I expected.

this year clearly isn’t the year with Joe in 1st year law school and the avs sucking, but I still plan on getting a mhh game together one of these days. maybe we can get a group rate on some nice seats? some recognition on altitude like those euro dudes?

i can just image Julie Browman greeting us and starting the interview with Joe and DD. all is going well, typical fluff piece for Altitude…then suddenly BiB flies into the frame, frothing at the mouth and screaming obscenities at FG and TG as he rips off his clothes, revealing only a g-string with FIRE FG written across it.

on second thought, maybe not on the altitude thing.
