Sens Fire Hartsburg, Take notes FG

Well the Senators have fired Hartsburg after only 48 games as coach because of how bad they're playing. FG really needs to learn from other teams that if the teams playing poorly and the coaching sucks get rid of the coach and see if you can get some decent play that way. It'll be interesting to see if the Sens season gets better without Hartsburg.

I wonder how many more Avs losses before Granato gets fired. I mean, as a fan, I’ve been “tuning out” any & all Granato quotes in articles about the Avs for at least 3-4 weeks now; I can’t imagine the players are still listening to him as well.

And while I’m not a big Ken Cambell fan (ok, not a fan at all) at least if he’s right in this and we don’t fire TG right away, maybe there’s hope that a quality successor can be found. Provided they aren’t waiting on someone they already have in mind.

Sadly, this franchise isn’t interested in quality successors, they are interested in homegrown, go-with-the-flow franchise puppets. The was a large pool of quality, experienced, and proven NHL coaches before this season. The Avalanche decided to go in-bred.

I don't like the phrase or the concept of tanking, but this team most definitely needs a facelift and a boob job if it ever wants to be noticed by the rest of the league again.
