I thought this morning it might be nice for all of us to admire The Baron's display of athleticism and strength during the 4-3 win over the fLames (2/2/09). Do not try this at home. (Photo credit: David Zalubowski / AP)

Yeah

all The Baron did was stick his tongue out at him.

I think The Baron is making a quick pass play and is reaching for the puck (which appears to be on his stick). Just looking at how his knees/ankles/legs are positioned as he’s reaching for the puck makes me say, “Whoa.” The fLames player is Rene Bourque.

It might be the play

where he stretched out to get the puck and pass it behind him to keep it in the zone. Which eventually ended in nothing, but still what a play. Nice picture of it as well.

Nice

Now put together a few more of phadouche looking like the ass that he is (getting checked into the avs bench, getting beat, lappy knocking him on his ass, etc) and you get the Win! of the week award.

I blame it all on my goalie
