After 12 games played outside of the division, it will be nice to get beaten by a NW team for a change. It's possible that this will be the last time we see Jacques Lemaire behind the bench in the Pepsi Center - Jim Souhan is reporting that Lemaire is contemplating retirement.
Injury information is listed below. Cody McLeod is still missing from the list; he's been practicing and will be a game time decision. Ditto for Cody McCormick. Also missing from the list is Brent Burns, who did not travel to Colorado.
My status for the game will also be a game time decision, as DirecTV is up to their shenanigans again; they are currently showing that the game will be shown on the TBA channel. Super. [The game is now showing in my guide, so I'm okay, although I'm still shaking my head at yet another clueless email response from a DTV rep]
In the Ti4T watch, all bottom-five teams are in "action" tonight. Phoenix is at New Jersey, Atlanta is at Edmonton, Tampa is at Toronto and the Islanders are at Montreal.

Apparently, SOG’s are only if the goalie not being there would have caused a goal. Honestly, I think the SOG stat is crap. I think they should count all shots on net regardless of quality chances.

I’m just totally annoyed with Clark. He has been a super shitty player this season, on ice for tons of goals, trying to play goalie ect. And the mouth guard constantly hanging out of his mouth reminds me of a dog looking up at you all cocky like “what? what did I do?” with it’s tongue hanging out.

I was wondering what was going on, so I went back to that gdt with the highlights and J.P. says he can actually set the number of rec’s that will get teh comment to turn green. So yes, we DO have to wait for Joe! LoLoL!
When a comment gets 2 recs (I can set how many – currently it’s 2), it gets highlighted. Basically, it’s so you can skim the crap and see the good stuff easily.

I don’t really like tanking either but i have no problem with it, teams are gonna do it and it makes sense. Why try to finish 9th or 10th in the conference and 16 -20th in the NHL, you miss the playoffs so you don’t get extra revenue AND you miss a good draft pick so you don’t get anyone good for the future.

and then he is all modest in the interview like he will score everytime and he says he won’t. While that may be true, Wolski has been a lock to score in the SO this season. Total bonus to this season, IMO.

it’s my fault anyway. Early in the game thread I jinxed them by saying the game was over after Minny scored because Minny was 23-9-1 when scoring first.
This time the jinx worked…I’m sure I will start to receive hate mail from the Ti4T group.
