Via Rotoworld, Via Denver post:
The headline at Roto is what we have all come to believe: "
Tucker has been a major bust in Colorado"
That's the deep-digging reporting we have all come to love. This season has been disappointing for Darcy Tucker.
"This year's been a tough year personally," he said. "But all you can do is work every day; just come to the rink and try to have each day get better." The veteran inked a two-year, $4.5 million contract this past summer with Colorado after being bought out by Toronto. He was brought in to help ease the loss of Andrew Brunette to free agency, but has been ice cold offensively. Tucker has generated a meager eight goals and six assists in 56 games to go along with a minus-13 rating. He has been playing with Ian Laperriere and Ben Guite of late and has scored goals in consecutive games in an attempt to salvage his year, but it appears to be too little too late.

LMFAO
Any Arnason joke is okay in my book!
I don't believe in Peter Budaj.

i wonder if stan is going to step up to the plate and buy him out? Probably not since we had to suffer through a year of arnason’s stellar play.

Well
an Arnason buyout wouldn’t have really done anything. He was making so little that buying him out didn’t make much sense.

i beg to differ, I’d rather have you out there than him. Well actually I’d trust someone playing on LE currently more but either way.

Couldn’t reassign him to LE either, they’ve done nothing to deserve such a chump.

Scott Hannan is looking to rebound next season.
The defensive defender believes the Avalanche will be in the playoff picture next campaign and he would also like to perform better as well. “You can’t approach this like any other off-season,” Hannan said. “This is going to be a long one. Guys have to focus on how they want to come into camp — in shape, ready to work and ready to do the things (needed).” Hannan has not been a fantasy worthy player in 2008-09, recording just nine points and a minus-14 rating in 72 contests.
