very well done, although it’s not really news to anyone who watched Kelly Hrudey say the same thing a couple weeks ago on Hockey Night in Canada.
I love that Roy story, though.
Hyphens cause writers more trouble than any other form of punctuation, except perhaps commas.

Interesting
I don’t buy into the crazy = great goalie part of the story, but I agree that sometimes the technical to a “T” as DD as put it can backfire. Good technique is important, but the ability to just do whatever you have to to make the save is equally important. Then again, when a goalie is constantly over-criticized and over-scrutinized by the fans and media, I can see how a fear of being out of position or doing something wrong would develop.

that’s a good article, probably the fairest he’s ever done about Boods. I don’t think you’re going to see a huge uptick in the team’s success if you replace Budaj. No, he’s not a stud. But I don’t think he’s the reason the Avs suck either.
On an unrelated note, how crazy is it that we are 2 points from the #2 draft pick (in all likelihood) and Hedman? 4 weeks ago I’d have said it was impossible to even think about getting to the #2 slot in the lottery.

It doesn’t have to be, just use a little less force.
Go Avs! Let's get some goals!
