Aaron Lopez On Tyler Arnason
"[Arnason] does not play a physical game, he is sub-par on faceoffs, he has a propensity for turnovers, and he often is a defensive liability. Other than that, what’s not to love?"

I haven’t been able to find the original quote though. It sure sounds like a MHH comment. Could it be from somewhere else? Shane, perhaps?

I haven’t been able to find it on my blog. I’ve been looking too.

Mike used “goat testicles” in a comment at itcs.
But what Lopez was touching on totally sounds like Jib.
Yeah
I searched “compromising positions” and goat and couldn’t find the comment.

Damn
I was just looking at that post.
Awesome stuff from BiB right there. That post was October 30th as well. Geez

Aaron still hasn’t sent me a check. Damn him anyway. My other thought was that maybe the old Rocky has lowered it’s standards on what they will allow in their stories since they are only online? Good for them.

My guess
Google, as always, comes through

I did a google search for it: Arnason compromising goats
I did NOT check to see if any images came up

the crazy part.
Is he doesn’t even seem to care that he sucks.

Seriously
It’s pathetic.
I’d have some respect for him if he defiantly declared he was better than the stats or his game showed. I’d think he was dillusional and I still would want him gone, but it would show some spark or passion that I think any professional athelete should have.
But to sum up his situation as “Whatever” is sad.
And based on what the team brings to the ice every game, I wonder who else must have the same attitude toward their work.
It almost sounds like he’s figuring he chose the wrong career.

Arnie has ALWAYS struck me as a guy who doesn’t like what he’s doing

The only time I’ve seen him in warm-up, the game against the Isles the first thing I noticed was him skating during the Smyth interview and even there he looked like he didn’t want to do anything. It’s a warm-up, you can’t even put any effort into that?

Good thing
about him giving up this season?
He’s helping us get a great replacement for him.

You could also argue Brett Clark is doing his part to get us a great replacement for him.
An ounce of confidence can carry you a mile toward winning. Oh, and Red Wings suck.
Except
We have him for another year.

Not necessarily. Some moron GM might be willing to trade for him. I bet Tampa Bay could use a rusty, overpaid D-man.
Go Avs! Let's get some goals!
maybe if they aren’t able to land Hedman?

For which,
FG would accept another 4th line grinder? Maybe an 8th D-man. I’m really starting to lose faith in the guy, if you couldn’t tell.
