And The Winner Is...
Wes, come on down up to Denver. You are our next contestant sacrificial victim in the game of Who Wants To Play For The Avalanche!
For those playing the home version who picked Darcy Campbell, Nigel Williams or Aaron MacKenzie, thank you for playing and please don't forget to have your pets spayed or neutered.

Wow, I guess the tank is on. He would have been the last guy I would have recalled.

Poor positioning…bone-headed plays. Granted he’s slightly better then last season, but he was barely clinging to an AHL job last year. I’m really stunned by this recall. I never thought he would ever get a sniff. Unless there are some more injuries in Lake Erie. This one is a bit of a head scratcher to me.

Boy, he’s gonna give Clark a run for his money. Maybe Granato will pair the two up.
Avs. Sticking it to the Red Wings
LEM still has a shot at the playoffs, yes? maybe they want to balance those needs with the Avs’ needs

They pretty much need to win out and that will be difficult with all the injuries they have and all the players the Avs have recalled.

Hell
Even I mentioned him in my LEM experiences. He’s really not a very good hockey player. At all.

Then he’s exactly who the Avs need right now. It’s hard to tank it when your team has talent.
Go Avs! Let's get some goals!

I like those better too. Even with the somewhat questionable elbow patches…

Hey I’ll take either of those jersey’s over what the Avs are wearing right now.

Nope
Black jersey = FAIL
(Not in general, Black jerseys can look nice. But I don’t want the Avs to be one of the 100 billion teams that think they need a black jersey.)

But would you rather have a black jersey or continue to wear the Unipron?

Meteor?
Honestly, i’d rather the unipron. As bad as it is, at least when i was at the Sharks game the other night, i was able to tell who were Avs fans, because of the colors.
Black just feels like robots.

i love those jerseys
considered buying one actually

How long before?
O’Neill learns to not check, stand next to the crease and screen his own goaltender while watching guys wide open in scoring positions, and generally suck at clearing the puck and at breakout passes? Only then can he fit in with our D core. Oh, he needs to sign for over $3M per year too. Leopold was too cheap, so they sent him on his way.

At least he's consistent
6 points and -8 or -9 for each of the past two years. Consistency at its finest. He’ll bring a new dimension to the Avs.
