"It's a mess, and it likely will at the very least lead to a front-office reshuffling, with team president Pierre Lacroix, in semi-retirement the past three seasons, stepping back in and reassuming hands-on control from general manager Francois Giguere. If he doesn't stay behind the bench, Tony Granato would have a job of some sort in the organization. If that shuffling doesn't happen, the next possibility on the list is a conventional and complete housecleaning."

I like his connection of the term “tank” with “wacko conspiracy theorists.” If that’s not a tip of the hat to MHH, I don’t know what is.

I kid. Or do I?

I smell a change to the MHH title at the top of the page!!

I thought that line was a little odd. I haven’t heard anyone say they think the Avs are losing on purpose, just that it might be in their best interest if they did. If they’re intentionally tanking, they’re being way too obvious about it.

I’m all for it, but yeah, I don’t think it’s actually a conscious effort on their part.

Just to throw an strange idea out there....

What would people think of Granato as Assistant GM or even GM?

MHH: Like the Avs organization, we’ve now officially lost our minds.

I don’t see why not, as long as he never gets to coach again.

no.

Hyphens cause writers more trouble than any other form of punctuation, except perhaps commas.

No no no

He’s been here 4 years, and hasn’t done anything well other than, apparently, kissing ass.

that’s not true, he obviously did some work with goats.

the answer

Clean house and start over with Stevey Yzerman.

1) He’s got some skills.
2) It will piss off detroit fans.
3) I have a man crush on him right now.

I'm Mr. Positive

That is just wrong on so many levels. Don’t make us sick BiB on you.

An ounce of confidence can carry you a mile toward winning. Oh, and Red Wings suck.

Good luck with that.
If teh Avs get Yzerman I’ll show you a green dog.

1) So what, he’s still a fricken Wing.
2) Good point.
3) You’d be better off with a man crush on a goat. What is it about him you like? That constant “a little bit pissed off sort of whiny fucking” face of his?
