A training staff more inept than the Avs' ?
Could it be that we don't have the worst medical staff in the league. Sure, our boy's stretch about as much as my 70-year-old father, but they don't mistake a concussion for a six-week sinus infection.

I wouldn’t make a judgment on this without more info…
It almost sounds like Burns was not telling the trainers/doctors everything because he was afraid of being sidelined. But after 6 weeks and not getting any better (maybe worse) he started thinking more was wrong and spoke up. Doctors can’t read minds, if he wasn’t telling them his symptoms they way have no reason to even suspect a concussion?
MHH: Like the Avs organization, we’ve now officially lost our minds.
