Definative proof that save % is strongly dependent on the defense in front of you.

defense…ah, so THAT’S what you call those guys.

Hyphens cause writers more trouble than any other form of punctuation, except perhaps commas.

Isn’t that actually Raycroft’s average save percentage the past few years though?

by James Mirtle on Apr 2, 2009 6:02 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

Oh Noes

Our defense is as bad as toronto’s was? If I didn’t know we were in the cellar, I do now.

08-09 Avs- can we decline the penalty?

Oh Noes II

Our offense is bad too. How bad, you ask? When I watched the Caps-Isles game on Wednesday night, the Caps announcers said: “Only Colorado has scored fewer goals than the Islanders this season.” The other announcer then exclaimed, “What’s happened to Colorado?”

Cellar, indeed. Ti4ToH!

maybe it should be Ti4TAH, because we might need them both to recover from this mess….

And the Broncos are going to trade Jay Cutler.

Something about this being a hockey blog….

An ounce of confidence can carry you a mile toward winning. Oh, and Red Wings suck.

by texacogirl on Apr 2, 2009 10:15 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

Meh

As a fan of both teams…..this uber sucks. Plus, the Rockies suck and I don’t give a damn about basketball so this is depressing.

by InYoFace on Apr 2, 2009 11:57 PM MDT up reply actions   1 recs

i actually watched some of the basketball game last night. and by watched, i mean that it was on while i read webcomics, and i would sometimes glance up at it. it was not as fulfilling as i might have liked. im happy someone seems to be winning tho.

awaiting the draft...

Which webcomics?

2008-2009 Colorado Avalanche: Dry Humping Mediocrity

by Mike @ MHH on Apr 3, 2009 9:26 AM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

um, questionable content, xkcd, multiplex, abstruse goose, subnormality, and happiness and cyanide… i think thats all of them. i hadnt had time to read them for a couple of weeks and it was fun to catch up on them all. more fun than only focusing on the basketball game at least.

awaiting the draft...

Happiness and Cyanide….great!

MHH: Like the Avs organization, we’ve now officially lost our minds.

the worst thing in my book

is that Bowlen & co are taking a ‘not my problem’ approach to this. Recall how Cutler was effectively the franchise he’s being cut out of?

WHERE DID ALL TO DEFENSE GO IN COLORADO?

I just want Drury back...

by wflan on Apr 2, 2009 5:47 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

Enjoy Kyle Orton…he sucks, pretty bad might I add. And don’t worry. Everyone here in Chicago is proclaiming Cutler as the savior of the Bears. And he may be a good quarterback…but it’s hard to throw from your back. And that’s where Cutler is going to spend a lot of time because of the Bears swiss cheese Offensive line. Yes, they signed Orlando Pace, but he is WAY past his prime, and isn’t going to fix the whole line.

Plus the Bears don’t have a receiver than can actually catch.

I guess we shall see

As for the actual thread about the Avs streak. Sucky

by chiavsfan on Apr 3, 2009 6:23 AM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

‘90-’91 Nordiques would be beating this team..

by Where is Bob Hartley? on Apr 2, 2009 2:32 PM MDT reply actions   0 recs

Not that i want them to win right now..

by Where is Bob Hartley? on Apr 2, 2009 2:39 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

What are you guys all upset about? This team is completely awesome at sucking. THere is no other team out there putting this much effort into losing as our boys in the unipron.

I'm Mr. Positive

Thats right

Nobody sucks as good as the Avs. Which is surprising considering the years of practice the Leafs have had.

by InYoFace on Apr 2, 2009 7:50 PM MDT up reply actions   0 recs

Don't forget...

We brought in quite a number of those Leafs with lots of experience in suckitude!

by Hopfenkopf on Apr 2, 2009 7:56 PM MDT up reply actions   1 recs

oh right……. That may explain part of this.
