Anyone else going to have a nightly "puke in your mouth" issue if the Ducks play the Wings next round??? This just sucks.

I already have that “puke in your mouth” issue just from having to listen the the Ducks announcers whine, moan, and bitch about every little thing. They sound like they started watching hockey a week ago and are reading everything from a rule book or script. Why the NHL has any right to black out VS when showing a game in “my area” when I pay for the fraking channel is disgusting (not to mention I am 8-10 hours from SoCal). I think I’d rather listen to Rick Fox during LA games then these Duck announcers on Prime Ticket. They make the VS announcers look like brain surgeons.

MHH: Like the Avs organization, we’ve now officially lost our minds.

Sweet baby Jesus

Rick Fox is one of my 3 least favorite people on this planet. Holy hell do I hate him.

Nope

I might go on a 7-state killing spree in the event of a Calgary-Detroit WCF though.

The Ducks are douchebags but....

….I think they are the team best equipped to take down the Wings though. Its a lose/minor victory that feels like a loss situation.

BTW

I actually thought the Sharks would break their playoff curse this year. Somebody should have asked me, “and your basing that on what exactly? Joe Thornton?”

My husband

whose entire family are those, you know, suck ass Red Wings fans (and yes, we still love them, despite their flaw) is looking at every single playoff game wanting the team best equipped to beat the Wings to win. That’s all that matter to him. No favorite teams – just wants the Wings to lose.

Colorado Avalanche: Please excuse the mess while we are under construction.

yeah

unfortunately i’m starting to think it’d be better if the ducks win this series. they are on fire and the wings would underestimate them

I fully endorse this comment. If there is one team that can knock the Wings out in the second round (I would lolol) it’s the Ducks. That is, if Captain Elbows can at least attempt to stay out of the penalty box. If the Ducks pull a penalty fest against the Wings like they have the Sharks, they will lose.

An ounce of confidence can carry you a mile toward winning. Oh, and Red Wings suck.

Watching the Ducks-Sharks Series,

I’m not seeing the hateful villains of the past Ducks (Burke, Bertuzzi, May). They look like they can beat the Wings. (Seriously, it looks like it’ll be Ducks-Bruins finals).

While I maintain, as I always have, that the Sharks will not go anywhere in the playoffs as long as Thornton is their go-to guy, I feel so sorry for him now. He looked so pitiful last night.

Definitely the Sharks

and by extension, somehow my friend Dan says this makes Granato a good coach.

As long as the Ducks beat the living daylights out of the Wings, while also winning the series, then I’m fine with whatever happens. I hate the Wings. Have I ever mentioned that?

Well slap me silly and call me Jibble

I meant this as a reply to the biggest flop thread. Wow. Sharks are the biggest flop. And I hate the Wings. And my friend Dan keeps defending Granato. And did you guys know that I can sit here and drink beer at work?

I want your job. How do I sign up? Does it also come with a raise?

Besides...

I kinda like those Niedermayer Bros and that guy the Avs should have kept…what’s his name? Oh yeah, Selanne!
Maybe with Hiller’s play, the Ducks would part with Giguere? Although he ain’t cheap.

Giguere

Had an awful season right on par with Turco, Budaj (even though he was often the best player), Theo, ect. His father died early in the season and it obviously affected his play. I think Giguere is a question mark going into next season and not a gamble I would like the Avs to take.
