Ron Wilson to coach Olympic team

Toronto Maple Leafs coach Ron Wilson will be behind the bench when Team USA heads to Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Wilson is no stranger to the international stage as he lead Team USA to an upset victory over Team Canada in the 1996 World Cup of Hockey. He also coached Team USA at the 1998 Olympics in Nagano and 2004 World Cup of Hockey.

USA Hockey is expected to make a formal announcement via a conference call on Monday.  Team USA's GM is Brian Burke, whom Wilson works with in the same capacity in Toronto.
