PrintAs we kind of predicted the other day, the Avalanche did recall someone other than Wes O'Neill for the Vancouver game on Sunday. Aaron MacKenzie gets the nod and will become the 10th player to make his NHL debut (six of them will be in the lineup on Sunday). MacKenzie was called up earlier this year, but did not dress for a game. He'll be wearing Kurt Sauer's still-warm #34.
In other news, Wojtek Wolski's mystery illness may have cleared up enough for him to play on Sunday.
