Tippet Out In Dallas. Crawford In?
"While no successor has been named, sources say the Stars have asked for permission to talk to former Los Angeles Kings, Colorado Avalanche and Vancouver Canucks coach Marc Crawford. All signs point towards Crawford taking over for Tippet, however that remains unconfirmed at this point."

The coach must suffer for the sins of his players…. and vise versa sometimes too, but yeah, I thought he was a good coach. Too bad we couldn’t have let the new GM conduct a coaching search before hiring some other schmoe form the organization. Although I’m actually not too upset about the Sacco thing… yet. We’ll see around December.
Get rid of the loser point
08-09 Avs- can we decline the penalty?
Tippet
He’s a great coach. I wish the Avs had a coaching vacancy right now.

I always liked Tippett
It’s not his fault that Turco sucked this year. Tippett’s been a pretty good coach, especially considering the fact that the Stars haven’t been nearly as talented as other teams that they have beaten (except when they lost to the Avs in 5 games out of the lockout).

Here's an idea
Perhaps Sacco could hire him to complete the coaching staff here?

I would love this honestly. But I think he’s going to be picked up for a coaching gig if one’s available.

yet another reason to hate the Stars
I wonder how long Modano will last with Crawford
I never liked Tippet
He’s the only coach in the NHL to ever lose a playoff series to Granato. I rest my case.
